Huppahs.com at Ohev Shalom, The National Synagogue
We are honored that Huppahs.com will provide the huppah that will be used during the upcoming dedication of a new Torah scroll at Ohev Sholom, The National Synagogue, in Washington, DC.
The new Torah scroll will be carried to the synagogue from several blocks away, escorted not only by the congregation, but also by a live band and a Huppahs.com huppah.
According to Jewish tradition, a new Torah scroll should be welcomed into a community the way one welcomes a bride and groom: with great celebration (and a huppah). (December 9, 2009)
